Myrtle Beach Will Be the Gathering Place of Hundreds of Mazda Miata Sports Cars and Their DriversMyrtle Beach, On March 25-28, 2010, Myrtle Beach will be the host of the fourth annual “Miatas at Myrtle Beach.” This gathering of Mazda Miata sports car clubs and enthusiasts from all over the country will feature 350 to 400 Miatas of all vintages, their drivers, navigators, and other family members. At this time, 25 Miata clubs will be in attendance, predominantly from the east coast but also from as far away as Michigan, Colorado, Texas, and California. 800 to 1,000 people are expected to attend. The Mazda Miata, the world’s most popular 2-seater sports car, made its debut in 1990.The event will be based at the Sea Mist Resort, 1200 S Ocean Blvd in Myrtle Beach, SC, but the activities will take place all over the Myrtle Beach area. They neglected to mention the "Beer Swap" on saturday evening. Take a couple of 6 pacs of your locally brewed micro beers and swap a bottle with others from all over the U.S. & Canada. You will return home with some really good beer. Drink one a night after returning home.... Makes that MAMB weekend last that much longer.

Sharon and I are bringing some local MD wines to go along with the beer swap, there was a thread over on M.net about the beer swap and someone brought up the fact that some don't drink beer and they would rather bring some wine. So along with the beer swap there will be some wine tastings.

As a side note Mike can you bring the banners to the next meeting since MAMB is the week after the meeting, Thanks.
